About
From the time of growth, to the time coffee is poured into your cup, it leaves a trail of opportunities that many young people can maximize. We as a team of young people who believe that by revisiting real experiences of every one involved along the value chain, it will open up a new conversation to inspire more people to be involved.
Real challenges faced by farmers, entrepreneurs, researchers and those in the value addition business are opportunities that young people can maximize by finding solutions. For this to happen, we need to talk about it and create more awareness. Normally Ugandans are a tea consuming population and to ensure that they can take more coffee in comparison to tea, it will take concerted effort.
Young people need to see the value in consuming coffee which will help them gain networking skills and also become aware of the available opportunities in improving the quality of coffee consumed. In the more advanced coffee consuming cultures like the United states of America, this is a powerful networking tool with many meeting their next business associates, partners as well as investors over a cup of coffee. For this to happen, more of Uganda's population should consume more coffee produced locally.
